To stay true to our name, the European Student Think Tank is lead by a group of ambitious students. Our board members serve one-year terms, meaning we need new board members every year. The board is split up in the Directive Board (President, Treasurer, Secretary) and the Executive Board (International Officer, Editor in Chief, etc). Each position has a detailed job description, but all positions give you the chance to experience work in a dynamic, international think tank. You can find the different positions and their responsibilities and profiles on this page.
Candidates should send in their CV and a motivational letter. After interviewing the best candidates, new board members will be selected in July, who will then go through a transition period during the summer. All positions are open to undergraduate and postgraduate European students with a good command of English.
The EST Board has an equal policy representation for members of our organization, with 50% women and 50% men in our Board and International Office. The EST Board of 2016 has committed to the progressive implementation of equality quotas in our organization beginning today (5 September 2016), and committing to achieve a 50/50 representation by the first day of 2017.
Applications for the 2016/2017 Board are CLOSED.
