Call for Senior Ambassador


The European Student Think Tank is looking for Senior Ambassadors to assist the International Officer!

As Senior Ambassador you are tasked with helping the International Officer in coordinating the work of ambassadors, who represent the EST locally and organize events in their respective country. You will have to supervise the ambassadors’ work, assist them in their projects and organize projects and events yourself.

General requirements:

  • Adaptability to a multicultural and multilingual working environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently
  • Strong knowledge of the European Union’s framework and up to date awareness of EU affairs
  • Reliability, flexibility, intellectual rigor, precision, perseverance, honesty, creativity, co-operative spirit and integrity.

Specific requirements:

  • Strong communication, time management skills and organizational skills
  • An ability to work with a large international team via telecommunication
  • An ability to motivate and inspire work colleagues
  • Previous experience with project coordination, NGOs or other associations is an asset. Previous work experience as an EST ambassador is a particular asset.

Call for Ambassador

Always dreamt of becoming an Ambassador? This is your chance!
Are you interested in the EU and would you like to contribute to narrowing the gap between the EU and its students? Then apply for the position of EST’s Ambassador in your country now!

As EST Ambassador you are one of the key players in our network. You are the main contact for your country and an important part of our growing success. You will be responsible for promoting the EST in your country, writing articles for us, organizing your own events in your country and connecting students to the European Student Think Tank! In short, you are the face of EST in your own country. As we are still a young organization, there is also plenty of room for your own input, ideas and challenges.

We are currently especially focused in receiving applications from Ambassadors that will represent us in the EU Member States, but if you live in a European country that is currently applying for EU Membership, belongs to the European Economic Area (EEA) or has other ties to the European Union that you deem important, feel free to apply for the position of ambassador as well.  

Requirements:

We are looking for motivated, proactive candidates who have an excellent command of English and good written, verbal and social skills. Ambassadors need have good time management and communication skills and be able to work independently in their countries.  In addition, ambassadors are required to live in the country they represent and be familiar with the country’s higher education system.

Do you want to become an ambassador to a European country that is currently applying for EU Membership, belongs to the European Economic Area (EEA) or has other ties to the European Union that you deem important? Do not hesitate to contact us so we can discuss a possible ambassadorship with this country as well!
