The Board is currently selecting the new International Officer for 2017/2018. After that the selection of senior ambassadors and ambassadors will take place. If you are interested in applying for the position of ambassador or senior ambassador, please send your application to international.officer@esthinktank.com. A separate call for these positions will be announced after the new Board has been selected. Applicants for the position of ambassadors and senior ambassadors will be contacted at the end of August.

Santiago Campos Ruiz for Spain

Santiago Campos Ruiz (1992) graduated in Law from Carlos III University (UC3M). After a brief experience working in some lawyer´s office of Madrid, he decided to study a Master in Legal Practice at Universidad de Alcalá (UAH). There, he had the opportunity to collaborate with the UAH Student Council fighting for the rights of the undergraduates. During this time, he has been a Legal Assistant at UAH Legal Clinic where he has been able to get in touch with several NGOs. He has taken part of volunteer elderly programs as well.

Having passed satisfactorily his Spanish BAR exam, he decided to study for a legal public examination to become a civil servant. At the same time, he teaches Constitutional Law in an academy and writes some articles for digital newspapers such as PoliticAhora, Polikracia or Gacetín Madrid. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, running, travelling and playing the guitar.

Gloria Monfort

Gloria Monfort (1996) is an undergraduate student of Business Administration and International Relations at IE University in Madrid. As a motivated student she is really concerned and aware of European affairs. Her passion about the European Union started when she participated in the European Union Simulation representing her country Spain facing the refugee crisis. Apart from studying in an English educational system, she has attended several courses aboard were she has been able to improve her skills in German and French. Furthermore, she is a member of the negotiation, mediation and debate club in her sorority, as she firmly believes that the skills that one develops are key for her future career. Being involved and helping society is really important for her. That’s why she is member of several organizations such as EDIW which focuses on project developing in third world countries. She hopes that working for EST will give her the experience required to embrace a successful career in this field.
