The Board is currently selecting the new International Officer for 2017/2018. After that the selection of senior ambassadors and ambassadors will take place. Angelique Truijens for the Russian Federation


Angelique Truijens (1993) is in her final year of the BA European Studies at the University of Amsterdam with a major in European law and minor in East European studies. This coming semester she will be studying at Saint Petersburg State University in Saint Petersburg, Russia. While studying in Amsterdam, she took part in the “EU in the classroom” project, which promotes education about Europe and the European Union in high schools and provides teaching material on the topic made by University students. She grew up in Prague, Czech republic and spent a year in the USA on a high school exchange. Her academic and personal interests lie in the theories on how the political climate influences the individual, especially in the context of Eastern Europe in the 20th century. Outside of academia, she is an avid cook and traveler.
